Bridgerton Star Phoebe Dynevor Reveals Being Huge High School Musical Fan

Phoebe Dynevor, known for her role in Bridgerton, recently shared her excitement about working with Zac Efron in their upcoming film Famous and revealed a fun secret: she was a huge fan of High School Musical when she was younger. During an appearance on the Today Show with Craig Melvin, the actress opened up about her experience working with Zac Efron and expressed how incredible it was to finally collaborate with someone she admired for years.

Dynevor confessed she never got the chance to tell Zac how much she loved High School Musical, where he rose to fame as Troy Bolton. She said, “He’s amazing in this film, and I can’t wait for people to see it. It’s quite an exciting movie.” She added that working with him on Famous was a dream come true, especially given her teenage admiration for him.

When asked by co-host Dylan Dreyer if she ever got star-struck by Efron on set, Dynevor admitted to feeling a bit star-struck but quickly added, “Yeah, a little bit, but his character’s so lovely,” highlighting his down-to-earth nature.

The two actors are starring together in Famous, a movie directed by Jody Hill, based on a novel of the same name. The plot follows Lance Dunkquist, a young man who looks strikingly similar to Hollywood star James Jansen, and his journey to fame. The film explores Lance’s determination to make it in Los Angeles, no matter the cost. While a release date for Famous has yet to be announced, fans are already excited to see Dynevor and Efron on screen together.
