Britney Spears deactivated her Instagram account on Thursday, just days before her first marriage anniversary with Sam Asghari. The singer had vanished from social media, hinting that she would not be posting any romantic tributes to her spouse on Friday, according to Page Six.
The couple married on June 9, 2022, at her big garden in Thousand Oaks, California.
The singer, 41, is well-known for taking breaks from her social media accounts. Fans called in health checks for the singer during one of her most recent hiatuses, which understandably annoyed her.
A Ventura County Sheriff’s Office representative told Page Six at the time, “I can confirm that we did get calls into our dispatch, and essentially, I can confirm that we don’t believe Britney Spears is in any kind of harm or danger,”
While it’s unknown what led the singer to deactivate her social media accounts recently, she did state that she “quit the business” after a 13-year conservatorship.
The singer seems to be coming to terms with the fact that her boys, Sean Preston, 17, and Jayden, 16, are relocating from California to Hawaii with their father, Kevin Federline.
Despite their troubled relationship, she quickly signed off on allowing her boys to leave the state, according to Page Six.
