Candace Owens didn’t hold back in her latest YouTube episode of Candace on January 8, where she weighed in on the ongoing legal dispute between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. Owens outright criticized Lively, calling her “not a good person” and a prime example of “modern feminism gone wrong.”
She questioned why Lively filed a civil rights complaint instead of a direct lawsuit, implying it was a strategic move to protect her public image. “Don’t let the lawsuit distract you from the fact that she is not a kind person,” Owens asserted.
Owens also shared a personal anecdote, recalling her internship at Glamour, where an editor allegedly described Lively as the most difficult and rudest celebrity they had worked with. “People know this behind the scenes,” Owens claimed. “She’s a bit of a brat.” She argued that Lively’s legal actions portray her as a victim, which, according to Owens, is an exaggerated display of modern feminism.
Adding fuel to the fire, Owens took a jab at Amber Heard, who recently expressed support for Lively. “Amber Heard gave a statement,” she said, before quipping, “I think after allegedly pooping on Johnny Depp’s bed, she should sit this one out.”
The legal feud began in December 2024 when Lively accused her It Ends With Us co-star, Baldoni, of sexual harassment. In response, Baldoni sued The New York Times over its coverage of the allegations. While initial public sentiment leaned in Lively’s favor, voices like Owens’ suggest that skepticism is growing.
