Daredevil: Born Again – Details You Might Have Missed in the Latest Trailer

Daredevil: Born Again is shaping up to be an exciting and highly anticipated addition to the Marvel TV universe, especially with Charlie Cox reprising his role as Matt Murdock/Daredevil. With the return of Wilson Fisk as the mayor of New York City, the stakes are high as he confronts Matt with a thought-provoking question: “Why did he leave being a vigilante?” There’s definitely more than meets the eye in this series, with plenty of hidden easter eggs for fans to discover.

One of the first major Easter eggs occurs during a scene set in Times Square, which is filled with advertisements, people, and plenty of familiar Marvel references. First up is The Rogers play, which we’ve seen before in Hawkeye and Spider-Man: No Way Home. This reference connects Born Again to other MCU projects, adding a sense of continuity to the universe.

Next, there’s a subtle nod to The Incredible Hulk (2008) with an ad for a green cold drink. MCU fans may recall this drink from the factory where Edward Norton’s Bruce Banner accidentally exposed his blood to the product. It’s a clever callback to a lesser-known but important film in the MCU timeline.

Additionally, the series introduces the Punisher, and there are more hints at old Marvel Netflix heroes making their return. One billboard in the same Times Square scene advertises Harlem’s Paradise, a key location in Luke Cage. The billboard’s tagline, “Harlem’s Paradise is the place where hip-hop, funk, jazz, & rock and roll all come back to the mothership. It’s a party, y’all,” is a nod to the vibrant nightclub that was central to Luke Cage’s storylines. Fans of the previous Netflix Marvel shows will appreciate these references to the wider world of heroes in the MCU.

Daredevil: Born Again will be releasing on March 4, and with these intriguing Easter eggs, it’s clear that the series will tie together multiple threads from the Marvel universe while introducing new ones.
