Known for her roles in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Yaariyan, actor, Evelyn Sharma married Australia based dentist Dr. Tushna Bhindi last month, in an intimate country wedding ceremony in Brisbane, Australia on May 15th.
Evelyn took to Instagram to announce her engagement with Tushar in October, 2019. She quoted, “There’s no better feeling that being married to your bestfriend. We’re so excited about spending our life together.”
In an interview, Evelyn said that the wedding celebrations started with a legal ceremony and they would have loved for their friends and family to be a part of it, however she knows that their blessings are always with the couple.
The couple is planning on throwing a grand reception later. Tushar said that ever since their engagement in 2019, they wanted to get married but the pandemic has slowed things down for them. They never wanted to draw attention towards themselves with all the pomp and grandeur and thus kept things simple and straightforward.
Evelyn and Tushar met on a blind date in 2018, and in 2019 he popped the question at Sydney Harbor Bridge by going down on one knee. They tied the note in 2021 and are parenting a dog named coco together.
