YouTuber Gaurav Taneja, known as Flying Beast, has spoken out in defense of Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as BeerBiceps, amid the controversy surrounding his remarks on India’s Got Latent. Gaurav, who had previously criticized Ranveer for his comments, now feels that Ranveer is being unfairly targeted.
In a video shared on Instagram, Gaurav said that while he supports people speaking up about what’s wrong, he believes that Ranveer is being singled out. He shared, “When this BeerBiceps controversy started, I thought the youth of this country are sensible and they will fight for their culture, which is right. But now, what’s happening is not fair.”
Gaurav also questioned why only Ranveer was being targeted and not others involved in the show. He mentioned that many videos online use bad language, but it’s only Ranveer who is facing punishment. Gaurav criticized the system, saying that the punishment should match the crime, and that this situation was unfair.
The controversy started when Ranveer asked a contestant a controversial question about their parents on India’s Got Latent. After the backlash, the episode was deleted, and Ranveer received death threats. Now, the Maharashtra Cyber Police have called him for questioning on February 24.
