Amy Schumer opens up about her exit from the Barbie movie.
As per the source, Amy Schumer was the first who got finalised to potray Barbie before Margot Robbie. Though Amy remained silent but she left the movie earlier then Greta Gerwig and Warner Bros took the project.
The Barbie movie features Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, Simu Liu, and Emma Mackey. Before Warner Bros took over, Amy was selected for the main lead at Sony. While asked about being removed from the project, Amy pointed towards the production house. She stated, “There’s a new team behind it, and it looks like it’s very feminist and cool, so I will be seeing this movie.”
In March 2022, Amy once Ina n interview told the heel was made of jello, so she left the project. She wrote, Barbie as an “ambitious inventor” and maybe that’s why she was out of the project.
