‘I Didn’t Recognize Him at First,’ Says Auto Driver Who Helped Injured Saif Ali Khan

Bhajan Singh Rana, the auto driver who rushed actor Saif Ali Khan to Lilavati Hospital following a brutal attack, has shared his firsthand experience of the tense night. Speaking to ABP News, Singh revealed how the incident unfolded and his role in ensuring the injured actor reached medical care promptly.

Singh recounted being approached by a woman’s frantic screams for help late at night. Initially unaware of the identity of the injured man, Singh said, “I didn’t realize it was Saif Ali Khan at first. His white kurta was drenched in blood, completely red. He looked badly injured but still managed to walk into the auto himself.”

Accompanied by a small child, later identified as his son Taimur Ali Khan, and another individual, Saif remained calm despite his critical state. Singh recalled, “He seemed composed but spoke urgently, asking how long it would take to reach the hospital.”

Upon arriving at Lilavati Hospital, Saif introduced himself to the staff, saying, “I am Saif Ali Khan. Bring a stretcher immediately and do my tetanus shot.” It was only then that Singh realized he had been transporting the Bollywood star.

Reflecting on the experience, Singh admitted, “I couldn’t understand their English conversation, but I could feel the urgency in his voice. He was calm, but the situation was terrifying.”Saif’s resilience and Singh’s quick response played a crucial role that night, ensuring the actor received timely medical attention.
