Is Sanam Teri Kasam’s Harshvardhan Rane to play villain in Saif Ali Khan starrer Race 4?

Race 4 is expected to include a triumphant return for Saif Ali Khan, but details regarding the director, actors, and shooting locations are still being withheld. But recent rumours suggest that Harshvardhan Rane, 2025’s breakout actor, would also be joining the franchise.

According to reports, talks are reportedly underway for Harshvardhan to play the antagonist in the movie. A source from Filmfare claims that Harshvardhan Rane, who is now enjoying the success of Sanam Teri Kasam’s re-release and has emerged as one of 2025’s most sought-after performers, may be joining the suspenseful thriller Race 4.

According to reports, Harshvardhan has received a number of significant offers as a result of his rising fame, especially following the successful re-release of Sanam Teri Kasam. The chance to play the enemy in Race 4 is one such offer. Even though his casting is still up in the air, the agreement is very likely to go through. His inclusion would greatly benefit the franchise if it were confirmed.

The prior rumours that Sidharth Malhotra was also being considered for the movie added to the frenzy. The author of every previous Race movie, Shiraz Ahmed, stated in an interview with Bollywood Hungama that Race 4’s production would start in January 2025. He added that casting and the writing were almost complete.

Saif Ali Khan and Sidharth Malhotra’s participation was confirmed by Ahmed, who also stated that the filmmakers would formally reveal the remaining cast members later. Shiraz Ahmed talked about Race 4’s plot, revealing that it returns to the world created in the first two films in the series. The plot and characters from those flicks will be continued in the next film.

Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, and Saqib Saleem were among the ensemble cast members of the previous Reso D’Souza-directed Race movie. Fans are now anxiously anticipating an official announcement as Race 4 prepares to be an exciting revival.
