Isla Fisher shared an emotional and heartfelt message on New Year’s Eve, marking the beginning of 2025 with gratitude. On Instagram, she thanked her old friends, family, and new friends who have welcomed her and her children into their hearts and homes. She also expressed appreciation for the supportive messages she received during a challenging time, including after her divorce from Sacha Baron Cohen. In her post, she concluded with, “I love you all and wish you the happiest 2025.”
The note comes after Fisher and Cohen announced their split in April 2024 after over 20 years together. The couple, who share three children—Olive, Elula, and Montgomery—revealed in a joint statement on Instagram that they had filed for divorce in 2023. They acknowledged the privacy they had maintained throughout the process and expressed their continued commitment to their children. They also thanked the public for respecting their family’s wish for privacy.
Fisher and Cohen first met in 2001 and married in 2010. Over the years, they kept their personal lives mostly out of the spotlight. Fisher had previously spoken about her desire to give their children a normal childhood, shielding them from the pressures of social media.
In her career, Fisher recently starred in Wolf Like Me Season 2 on Peacock, where she played a woman with a secret—she’s a werewolf who begins a relationship with a single dad played by Josh Gad. Reflecting on her role, she called it a “dream job.”
