Jaideep Ahlawat Reacts to Saif Ali Khan Attack; Calls for Media Restraint

Actor Jaideep Ahlawat has shared his thoughts on the recent violent attack on Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan. Speaking to ANI, Jaideep revealed that while he did not directly speak with Saif or Kareena Kapoor Khan, he reached out to them via text messages to express his concern.

“Direct baat nahi hui but maine message kia tha unko (I did not talk to them directly but I sent a text to them after learning about the incident),” Jaideep said.

The attack, which occurred over two weeks ago at Saif’s Bandra residence, has continued to make headlines. The actor was stabbed by an intruder, identified as Mohd Shariful Islam Shehzad, who broke into his home during an attempted burglary. Saif sustained injuries to his thoracic spine and other body parts and was hospitalized at Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent surgery. He was discharged last week.

Jaideep also criticized the media for their intrusive coverage. “Ajeeb lagta hai dekhkar (It feels weird)… I recently saw a video of a reporter chasing the actor’s car in an unsafe way to get visuals. It’s so dangerous. Thoda bhaut sabko sochna chahiye (Everyone needs to think a little),” he said.

Meanwhile, Saif and Kareena have urged paparazzi not to photograph their children, Taimur and Jehangir. The couple has reportedly installed extra fencing on their balcony to enhance security. Upon his return home, Saif briefly greeted the media, acknowledging their presence.
