Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal is gearing up to portray the legendary Maratha King Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in Laxman Utekar’s much anticipated film Chhaava. During a recent conversation at HT City’s Stars In The City, Vicky shared how his intense preparation for the role left a lasting impact even at home.
The actor revealed that his wife, actress Katrina Kaif, was quick to notice certain traits he carried from the sets. He explained that his rigorous schedule
12-hour shoots, two hours of training, and action rehearsals left him little time for personal life. However, even when he was at home, remnants of his character lingered.
One such trait was the way he walked. “The residue of that walk stays with me. For Chhaava, nobody minded, not even my wife. She was like, ‘Yeh bohot sahi lag raha hai’,” he shared with a laugh.
Another change Katrina noticed was his occasional silence. Vicky explained that his mind remained preoccupied with the film, making him slightly disconnected in conversations. Fortunately, Katrina, being from the industry, completely understood.
