Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif and her mother-in-law Veena Kaushal visited the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj today. The two took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam, the meeting point of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers.
Earlier in the day, actor Akshay Kumar also arrived at the mela. Dressed in a white kurta-pajama, he knelt down at the Triveni Ghat before taking a dip. A video of this moment has gone viral on social media.
In the afternoon, Katrina and Veena Kaushal met Swami Chidanand Saraswati and Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati at Parmarth Niketan Ashram to seek blessings. Katrina looked graceful in a light pink suit, while her mother-in-law wore a blue outfit. Later, Katrina changed into a pastel yellow suit before stepping into the holy waters.
