At the box office, Drishyam 3 is doing fantastically. On its sixth day (Tuesday), the Jeethu Joseph-directed family crime drama starring Mohanlal added Rs. 5.75 crore to the total. It saw a 10% decrease from Monday and a 45% decrease on the first day.
The film broke the Rs. 50 crore barrier in Kerala thanks to its incredible stay at the box office. The film took six days to reach this milestone, making it the second-fastest entry into the half-century crore box office club, only surpassed by Mohanlal’s own L2 Empuraan.
On Thursday, the film will continue to do well. In fact, because of the Eid-al-Adha holiday, the film is hoping for a boost on Day 7. According to current statistics, the film is expected to make between Rs. 57 and Rs. 58 crore in Kerala this week.
The film will have a large second weekend because of these outstanding weekdays. Nevertheless, Drishyam 3 has the potential to rival top grossers Vaazha 2, Lokah Chapter One: Chandra, and Thudarum in addition to joining Kerala’s Rs. 100 crore club.
