Kevin Costner and ex-wife Christine officially finalize their divorce after contentious split

It’s official: Kevin Costner and his ex-wife Christine are divorcing. On Tuesday, court documents showed that their marriage had been ended on Friday, February 16. Christine, 49, had requested that a court in Santa Barbara., remove the requirement for both parties to take a co-parenting course.

The ex-spouses of the Yellowstone star had previously reached an agreement in September on custody of their three children and other parts of their divorce.

Following TMZ’s first report of their settlement, a representative for Kevin, 69, told People Magazine in September that the couple had “come to an amicable and mutually agreed upon resolution of all issues pertaining to their divorce proceedings.”

After being married to Kevin for eighteen years, Christine filed for divorce on May 1, 2023. They had split up on April 11, she said in her filing.

The former couple has three children together: two sons, Cayden (16) and Hayes (15), and a daughter, Grace, 13.

Kevin’s representative said that he regretted when Christine filed for divorce. “It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action. We ask that his, Christine’s, and their children’s privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time,” the spokesperson said.
