Khloé Kardashian recently opened up about her love life and co-parenting in a candid conversation on Jay Shetty’s podcast. The Good American co-founder shared that, although she and her ex, Tristan Thompson, are no longer together, co-parenting has been a positive experience.
Kardashian also revealed that she’s not currently dating anyone and has actually been off the dating scene for the past three years. She explained that her focus right now is entirely on her two children, saying, “I’m not dating because my relationship with my kids just is; it’s everything to me.” She emphasized that this doesn’t mean people with kids who are dating are doing something wrong, but at this point in her life, she simply wants to prioritize her kids and nurture their bond without distractions.
Further into the conversation, Khloé discussed how her past trauma has played a role in shaping her into a better parent. She reflected on how her experiences, particularly romantic struggles, have helped her grow and become more compassionate. “I had to deal with a lot of trauma to get to this point,” she said, adding that while she wouldn’t wish those experiences on anyone, she’s not ashamed of them. In fact, she views them as a part of her journey and believes they’ve given her a unique softness and perspective on life.
Khloé and Tristan Thompson had been together for six years and share two children. Before her relationship with Tristan, Khloé was married to Lamar Odom. Despite her past challenges, it’s clear that her main focus is now on building a positive environment for her kids.
