Kim Seon Ho
‘Start Up’ fame Kim Seon Ho created a niche for himself on the small screen. He has come a long way and was on the verge of a film career until he got entangled in a controversy that can pose a major threat to his career. It all came crumbling down for him when his scandalous past came to light after an online post mentioned speculations about him. It read, “I am disclosing actor K’s two-faced and shameless true nature.” Without revealing the name of the actor initially, the user called him a “piece of trash without the slightest conscience or sense of guilt” and alleged that she was forced to have an abortion when pregnant with actor K’s child. It also claimed that actor K’s behaviour changed towards her post abortion. While there was no confirmation on the identity of actor K, speculations pointed towards Kim Seon Ho after a YouTube influencer made claims. Soon after this, the actor accepted all allegations by his ex-girlfriend and also issued an apology. However, he was too late and faced a severe backlash and lost out on multiple projects.
Park Shin Hye
South Korean actors Park Shin Hye and Choi Tae Joon who have been dating since late 2017, will be tying the knot in 2022 as the couple is expecting their first baby together! On January 22, their private wedding ceremony will take place in Seoul in the presence of close family members and friends only. The parents-to-be couple also penned down letters to their fans separately to make the big announcement.
K-Pop group BLACKPINK’s Lisa marked her long-awaited solo debut finally in 2021 and smashed records. Her single album ‘LaLisa’ became the most viewed YouTube music video by a solo artist in 24 hours with 73.6 million views. The record was last helmed by Taylor Swift for her single ‘Me!’
Park So Dam
Oscar winning ‘Parasite’ star Park So Dam broke the unfortunate news of her health scare as she was diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer this year. Putting a halt to her work activities, the actress recently underwent surgery for the same. “Actress Park So Dam was diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer from her regular health examination, and she completed surgery following the doctor’s recommendation” updated her agency and added, “Actress Park So Dam will focus on recovery in order to greet everyone in good health in the future, and her agency Artist Company will also do our best for the actress to recover her health. Thank you.”
Actress Honey Lee took everyone by surprise when she tied the knot with her non-celebrity boyfriend on December 21 in a low-key private wedding ceremony in Seoul with the presence of close family members. Her agency confirmed the happy news in a statement that read, “Actress Honey Lee, who found a precious person [in her life], has made a promise to become a lifelong companion to each other based on trust and affection.” She took the quick road and said yes to the ring within a year of meeting her beauty.
