Kristin Davis recently had tears in her eyes as she watched her co-star from Sex and the City

Kristin Davis recently became emotional while reflecting on her late Sex and the City co-star, Willie Garson, during the debut episode of her rewatch podcast Are You a Charlotte? As Davis revisited the show’s pilot episode, she was overcome with emotion upon seeing Garson’s performance as Stanford Blatch, Carrie Bradshaw’s (Sarah Jessica Parker) close friend. In a heartfelt moment, Davis had to pause and take a commercial break as tears welled in her eyes.

She expressed how it felt to see Garson on screen, calling him “beautiful” and sharing that she and the rest of the cast were “little, little babies” when they first started the show. Her voice cracked with emotion as she added, “Oh my God, I forgot Willie! Oh my God, when Willie comes on the screen—I might cry, sorry, but, you know, he’s so young.”

Garson, who tragically passed away in September 2021 after a private battle with pancreatic cancer, had been a beloved part of the Sex and the City family, known for his wit and charm. His death was a devastating loss to the entertainment world, and his memory continues to resonate with fans and co-stars alike.
