La Liga and Microsoft on Wednesday announced an expansion of their partnership focused on digitally transforming the sports experience globally. La Liga and Microsoft have been in a partnership since 2016 and now they will become the global partner of La Liga.
They will now focus more on building innovative technology solutions for the sports industry to enhance the fan engagement experience with Data-enhanced match coverage and a new generation of OTT platform for increasing the fan following and the retention of their old fans and also they will be looking into advanced venue management systems.
This new deal will also include technologies that will range from matchday stats and analytics to content protection services. This collaboration will help La Liga with new growth and business opportunities by leveraging the best innovations emerging across the sports market and commercial entertainment industry as well.
