Matty Healy recently stirred up some intrigue on Reddit after responding to a rumor about a song on The 1975’s upcoming album, allegedly inspired by his short romance with Taylor Swift. The song, reportedly titled God Has Entered My Body, has sparked speculation, especially after The Sun claimed it features the lyrics, “Keep your heads up, princess, your tiara is falling.” In response to a Reddit post about the song, Healy’s verified account simply commented, “Huge if true,” leaving fans puzzled as to whether he was confirming the news or just having some fun.
The rumor further fueled speculation about the connection between the song and Healy’s brief fling with Swift in 2023, following her breakup with Joe Alwyn. Despite the buzz, Healy has never been one to openly discuss his personal relationships but has often shared his feelings through his music.
Healy’s cryptic comment on Reddit also led fans to recall a similar phrase he used in an Instagram post back in 2021, where he wrote, “Keep your head up, princess, your tiara is falling.” This led to even more speculation that the song might indeed be linked to Swift.
Healy and Swift were first linked romantically in 2014, but their relationship resurfaced briefly in 2023, before fizzling out after about a month. Since then, Swift fans have speculated that their short-lived romance inspired some tracks on her forthcoming album The Tortured Poets Department, with Healy even hinting that the song “Guilty as Sin?” could be about him.
While Healy may be referencing his past with Swift in his upcoming album, he has since moved on in his personal life, recently getting engaged to model Gabriella Bechtel. Meanwhile, Swift is now in a relationship with NFL star Travis Kelce.
