On Sunday, a spokesperson for Prince Harry and Meghan said that the couple welcomed their second child, Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.

The second baby of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex is officially here!

Meghan gave birth to a healthy baby girl on Friday, June 4 at 11:40 a.m. A spokesperson for Prince Harry and Meghan said the couple welcomed home their child Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor. Their daughter weighed in at 7Ibs, 11 oz.

Meghan and Harry kept the pregnancy an extremely private affair speaking about the anticipated arrival only a handful of times. “My husband and I are thrilled to soon be welcoming a daughter — it’s a feeling of joy we share with millions of other families around the world,” Meghan said to the audience at the event which intended to promote Covid-19 vaccine, equity and gender equality.

Lilibet, her first name is a nod to Her Majesty the Queen’s nickname. Her middle name, Diana is chosen in the honor of her beloved late grandmother, The Princess of Wales and Harry’s mother. The baby is the eighth in line to the British throne. Baby ‘Lili’s elder brother, Archie Harrison is two years old.

‘Lili’ is said to be the only baby in the royal bloodline to have the potential ability to become America’s president in the future as she has the dual citizenship of UK-US while she is in line to the British throne.

At the beginning of 2020, Meghan and Harry separated from the royal family and moved to North America, they lived in a posh area in California called Montecito and recently bought a house in Santa Barbara.

Congratulations to Prince Harry and Meghan for their second child!
