Nagarjuna opens up about playing cupid in Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala’s love story

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala have remained tight-lipped about their love story; they got engaged in August and will be married on December 4 at Annapurna Studios. Talking to TOI, Nagarjuna revealed how he indirectly played cupid to their love while talking about his fondness for Sobhita.

According to Nagarjuna, he called Sobhita “immediately” to express his admiration for her performance in the 2018 movie Goodachari. “The following time she visited Hyderabad, I encouraged her to come see me. Later, she came home to see me, and we had some amazing talks about life in general as well as movies.”

“If my memory serves me well, they initially met when Chaitanya happened to walk in on one of her trips,” the actor remembered.

He said that he respects his soon-to-be daughter-in-law’s path, mentioning the amount of effort she put in to reach her current position. “She’s put in a tonne of effort to realise her goals, beginning with Vizag and making a name for herself in the field.”

As an accomplished actor, she has remained loyal to her profession and principles. Above all, he continued, “she’s very grounded and warm.” Additionally, Nagarjuna said that he feels “very happy” when he meets her and Chaitany because of their “unmistakable bond.”

On December 4, Chaitanya and Sobhita will tie the knot at Annapurna Studios, which is owned by his family. Only their closest friends and relatives will be present at the close-knit wedding.

In addition to Sobhita’s parents and other family members, the Akkineni and Daggubati families will be there. The bride-to-be will be dressed in traditional Andhra weaves, and the wedding ceremony will be Telugu and traditional.
