Ozzy Osbourne’s Parkinson’s has affected his legs, leaving him unable to walk

Ozzy Osbourne can reportedly no longer walk as his health declines due to Parkinson’s disease.

On February 5, Sharon Osbourne, 72, spoke to The Sun about her husband’s condition while also expressing excitement for his upcoming Black Sabbath reunion in July—his first with the band in 20 years.

“He’s very happy to be coming back and very emotional about this,” she shared. She acknowledged that Parkinson’s is a progressive disease and explained, “It’s not something you can stabilize. It affects different parts of the body, and it’s affected his legs. But his voice is as good as it’s ever been.”

Ozzy discussed his health on his SiriusXM radio show, admitting that despite his complaints and struggles, he remains grateful to be alive. “I look down the road, and there’s people that didn’t do half as much as me and didn’t make it,” he reflected.

Sharon later told Radio X that Ozzy works with a physiotherapist every day to maintain muscle movement. She reassured fans, “He’s fine. As fine as you can be with Parkinson’s.”

Ozzy was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2003. After undergoing his fourth spinal surgery in September 2023, he focused on improving his mobility and overall health.

During The Osbournes Podcast last year, he admitted that repeated surgeries were taking a toll on his body and vowed that following an upcoming neck surgery, he would refuse any more procedures. He also described how his feet feel like they have bricks tied to them when he walks.

Despite these struggles, the Crazy Train singer had a defiant message for those speculating about his health, telling critics to “F— off” and assuring fans that he’s far from being on his last leg.
