Papon’s new song ‘Haate haat dhori’ dedicated to his parents

Papon’s new song, Haate haat dhori got released on Saturday to mark the seventh death anniversary of his father.

Papon’s new song track is a melodious Assamese song which was released on Saturday. It was also the seventh death anniversary of his father and the song was a released as a tribute to his parents and their companionship.

At the beginning of the video, there was a note written by Papon which said, “Dedicating Haate Haat Dhori, a song about evergreen love and companionship to my parents, Archana & Khagen Mahanta. They were inseparable and lived in music together. I haven’t seen a better love story than theirs in my life.”

The video showcases the journey of a middle aged couple. Both of them are supporting each other in every circumstances and their life is filled with immense love for each other. At the end of the video, we could also see them celebrating their 35th marriage anniversary.

The calm and soulful music accompanied by Papon’s magical voice gave the song an emotional touch. Fans loved to see this kind of everlasting love in ‘Haate haat dhori- A song of life’.

“The kind of love that has been captured in the melody, lyrics and visuals of ‘Haate haat dhori’ is the one we all long for. I dedicate this song to my parents, who sang together for 50 years and offered their lives to music. It is a very sweet composition and it conveys the message of eternal love without extravagance. The song features Arun Nath and Audrey Hatibarua as huband and wife with their lovely dog, Zeba. It is penned by Mukund Sakia and composed by Hopun Sakia.
