Preetisheel D’Souza Shares the Untold Story Behind SRK’s Bald Look in Jawan

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s striking bald look in Jawan was not part of the original plan, revealed the film’s makeup and prosthetic artist, Preetisheel Singh D’Souza. In an interview with The Times of India, she shared that the look was created accidentally during a test session.

Initially, the makeup team experimented with different wigs for SRK’s character. During one of these trials, they applied a bald cap along with his salt-and-pepper beard. When they removed the wig, they noticed how striking he looked bald. “The first time we did the look test, he looked like a rock star,” D’Souza recalled. The team instantly decided to incorporate the look into his character, Vikram Rathore, in Jawan.

This spontaneous decision became one of the film’s highlights, garnering immense praise from fans and critics alike. Apart from his transformation, Shah Rukh Khan also impressed audiences with his leaner and sharper physique, showcasing his dedication to his roles even at 60.

Preetisheel Singh D’Souza, who has previously worked with him on a cola advertisement, praised SRK’s fitness and commitment. Meanwhile, the actor is gearing up for his next film, King, directed by Pathaan’s Siddharth Anand. The film will feature his daughter, Suhana Khan, making her big-screen debut alongside him, with reports suggesting Abhishek Bachchan in a never-before-seen negative role. Fans are eagerly awaiting another power-packed performance from the superstar.
