Producer Confirms Harshvardhan Rane Is Not Part of Race 4

Soon, actor Saif Ali Khan will make a comeback in the fourth installment of the Race franchise, which is helmed by Nikkhil Advani. Actor Harshvardhan Rane, 41, has reportedly been cast as the film’s antagonist, according to a number of recent rumours.

For the record, Ramesh Taurani, the film’s producer, has brushed this off as a mere gossip. “No, this is fake news. He hasn’t been roped in for the role and nothing about this role has been finalised yet,” Ramesh, 65, responded when asked if there were any other updates regarding the film’s cast outside of Saif.

“No cast has been finalised as yet so I can’t comment on the names,” he said with a laugh. Since Ramesh revealed in October 2024 that Saif would be returning to the movie, fans have been anxiously awaiting further information.

However, the movie hasn’t yet been filmed. Although there have been long-running rumours regarding the film’s production, Ramesh provides clarification. “No. Race 4 will start end of the year.”

The 2008 film Race, which starred Saif and Akshaye Khanna as two brothers, Ranvir and Rajiv, caught up in a convoluted web of treachery and deceit, launched the franchise, which is renowned for its fast-paced action, glitzy locales, and intricate narratives. Saif is now filming a different project in Pataudi.

“Saif is filming a movie, yes, but not in Delhi. He’s in Pataudi, Gurugram,” a source previously disclosed. Following the horrific stabbing event on January 16, he is making his comeback to the shooting set.

Regarding Harshvardhan, fans are anticipating news about the follow-up to his popular movie Sanam Teri Kasam. The 2016 film Sanam Teri Kasam saw tremendous success at the box office with its recent re-release, and fans are now eagerly awaiting the sequel.
