Filmmaker Rumi Jaffery spoke to Pinkvilla about the film he was supposed to make with Sushant.

Filmmaker Rumi Jaffery revealed to Pinkvilla that he was planning to make a film with the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput.

Sushant Singh Rajput dies under mysterious circumstances last year on 14 June 2020 at the age of 34. On the event of his one year death anniversary, filmmaker Rumi Jaffery spoke to Pinkvilla. He revealed to us, his plans for the movie that was slated to make with the actor.

Jaffery had a script ready before lockdown in 2020. The making of the movie was set to begin sometime around May 2020.

While in conversation with Pinkvilla, the filmmaker revealed that he has now put the script on the back burner. He also got emotional while talking about the star who left the world too soon at the age of 34.

He said, “I have kept it back on the rack. You know it is a very beautiful script and whenever I discuss or read the script to anyone, Sushant’s face comes in front of my eyes.”

Rumi further added, “We had not finalised the producer and were setting up the unit together.”

Rumi and Sushant had plans to began the making of the film in May 2020. They had foreign locations in mind for the film.
