Saif Ali Khan takes paternity leave amidst COVID-19 fear to keep his family safe

As we all know that Saif Ali Khan and Kareena kapoor Khan has are just blessed with a son, he takes paternity leave to safe guard his family from Covid -19

As we all know the second wave of COVID-19 has hit us again. The film and television industry is shook down as they are rushing with their production keeping the guidelines in mind. With the shooting of Karan Johar’s production of Jug Jugg Jeeyo being completed ,the film’s director Raj Mehta has tested COVID positive.

Now as per the reports of SpotboyE, a source close to the government told film critic Subhash K Jha, “It is now felt that the decision to re-open cinemas and resume shooting was premature. We should have waited until next year when the COVID situation would be clearer. Shooting at the moment is not safe.”

The report mentions that now actor Saif Ali Khan who just welcomed a baby boy, has also spoken about how unsafe it felt to shoot and complete Bunty Aur Babli during COVID times. The actor has mentioned the real reason behind taking paternity leave was to protect his new born baby from infection.
