Sean “Diddy” Combs’ legal team has revealed significant details in the ongoing legal battle between the rapper and his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. According to a motion filed in New York federal court, Diddy’s attorneys claim that videos reviewed by officials confirm that the sexual activities between Combs and Ventura were consensual. The motion asserts that these videos, once properly presented electronically, demonstrate that the interactions were between two consenting adults in a long-term relationship.
The defense highlights that one of the videos allegedly shows Ventura engaging in private sexual activity, and they emphasize that neither party appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol during the encounter. The legal team argues that the tapes reveal no signs of incapacitation, trafficking, or any inappropriate conduct.
Combs and Ventura were in a relationship for nearly 10 years before breaking up in 2018. The rapper’s attorneys maintain that Ventura not only consented to the activities but enjoyed them, disputing the claims of sexual abuse she made in her November 2023 lawsuit.
