Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are about to make some serious waves in the music world with their upcoming collaborative album, I Said I Love You First. The couple, who have already had some major musical history together, is set to drop the album on March 21, 2025, and fans are already buzzing with excitement. This project marks their first album as a couple, and it promises to be an unforgettable blend of their musical chemistry and personal connection.
Selena shared the big news with fans on February 12, posting a picture on Instagram with Benny, holding a CD with the album’s title written on it. In the background, you can spot a collection of stuffed toys, which adds a personal and cozy touch to the announcement. Along with the album reveal, Selena also dropped their first single from the album, Scared of Loving You, which is now available on all streaming platforms. The song was written by the pair along with Finneas, who also co-produced it with Benny.
In her post, Selena expressed her excitement about the project, saying, “I always trick you guys. my NEW album I Said I Love You First with my best friend @itsbennyblanco, is out on 3/21. Our first song, Scared of Loving You, is out now on all streaming platforms. Merchandise and signed products for the album are available for pre-order now.” She also mentioned how excited they are to share this special project with their fans.
This album isn’t their first collaboration, though. The two previously worked together on Selena’s hits like Kill Em With Kindness and Same Old Love from her 2015 album Revival. They also teamed up again in 2019 on I Can’t Get Enough, featuring J Balvin and Tainey.
With their first full album together, fans are eagerly awaiting what the couple has in store for them. If Scared of Loving You is any indication, this project will be packed with raw emotion, beautiful melodies, and an undeniable connection between Selena and Benny.
