As of late, Sophie Turner has dropped her accusations of “wrongful retention” against her former spouse in the ongoing custody battle involving her and Joe Jonas. A US judge dismissed the allegation after both celebrities signed a consent plan. The plan had already been approved by a UK judge last week.
Turner filed a complaint against Jonas on September 2023, citing the wrongful retention of their kids. Turner said that Jonas kept their daughters’ passports, preventing them from returning to England.
The ex-couple has two children, Will, who is three, and Delphine, who is one. Sophie Turner’s team asked for the immediate return of the children in their legal complaint against Joe Jones, citing wrongful removal or retention and claiming that the wrongful retention began on September 20th.
Jonas and Turner agreed to drop the filing with prejudice and without attorneys’ fees, expenses, costs, and/or disbursements awarded to either party.” This judgment followed the approval of their parenting agreement in the UK on January 11th.
The artist filed a petition for the dissolution of marriage in Miami on September 5th, officially ending his four-year marriage with his wife. The filing asserted that “the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken.” As stated in the divorce papers, the couple has a prenuptial agreement in effect. Following the separation, both of them seemed to have moved on. While the Game of Thrones actress was seen kissing Preregrine Pearson, the Jonas Brothers singer was photographed with model Stormi Bree in Mexico earlier this month.
