On The Young and the Restless episode from Tuesday, Holden (Nathan Owens) continued his undercover mission, reading through a background check on Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). He pointed out a link between Nate’s father and Damian King’s (Jermaine Rivers) mother, leading Damian to push Holden to stay in character and dig deeper into Nate’s past. Holden, feeling the pressure of the situation, voiced concerns about being caught, particularly if Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford) discovers his impersonation. Damian advised him to avoid Amy and keep pushing forward with the plan.
Meanwhile, Amy expressed concerns about Damian’s upcoming meeting with Nate, fearing his reaction, but Nate and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) reassured her that Damian just needed time to adjust. However, Amy’s fear of running out of time due to her illness remained. Nate, sensing the threat of being investigated, suspected that Damian might be running a background check on him. His suspicion proved correct when Holden, pretending to be Damian, called Nate, which Nate was pleased to hear.
In a tense encounter at Crimson Lights, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) bumped into Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), and the two discussed the fallout from Ian Ward’s (Ray Wise) confession about his involvement in Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) elimination. Sharon reminded Phyllis that it was Jordan (Colleen Zenk) who had run her off the road, but Phyllis was still bitter about the past. Phyllis made it clear that she would never forgive Sharon for her role in framing Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei), despite Sharon explaining that she was under the influence of PCP at the time. Sharon also pointed out that Phyllis was alive because she had resisted Cameron Kirsten’s (Linden Ashby) orders to eliminate her, but Phyllis scoffed at the notion that she should be grateful.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) interrupted the heated exchange, trying to deescalate the tension. He suggested that Ian was the true villain, but Phyllis stood firm in her belief that Sharon was still responsible for the pain caused, labeling Heather as “collateral damage.” After Phyllis left, Sharon admitted to Nick that the situation had taken a psychological toll on her. She expressed her gratitude for Nick’s support and gave him a heartfelt hug.
At Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) place, he surprised Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) with takeout food and shared that he was close to getting Phyllis and Daniel on board with his new business venture. Sally, however, was not thrilled with the news, warning Billy that Phyllis and Daniel both had explosive personalities, which could lead to disaster. Billy defended Phyllis, saying they had some common ground, but Sally remained skeptical. Phyllis later showed up, helping herself to Billy’s lunch and making things uncomfortable. After Sally left, Phyllis took a jab at her interior decorating choices, expressing surprise that Billy and Sally’s relationship had gotten so serious. Billy reminded Phyllis to respect his boundaries, but tensions remained high.
