It looks like Taylor Swift has won over the Kelce family! Travis Kelce’s father, Ed Kelce, recently spoke about his son’s relationship with the pop superstar in an interview with Australia’s Today show.
Ed praised Swift, calling her a “joy to be around” and noting how she has immersed herself in football, often watching games with her father when she has time. He also shared his thoughts on the couple’s future, predicting that once both the NFL season and Swift’s Eras Tour pause, they’ll finally have more time to connect on a deeper level. “Just them alone, really connecting more. I think that can only be a good thing,” he said.
With Super Bowl LVIII just around the corner, all eyes will be on Travis and his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, as they face off against the San Francisco 49ers on February 10. Swift, who has been a regular presence at Chiefs games, is expected to be in attendance to cheer on her boyfriend.
As for rumors of Swift possibly joining Kendrick Lamar during the halftime show, Ed played coy, insisting he had no idea. He also dodged questions about a potential wedding, quipping, “Did you really think I was going to come up with that?”
Swift was recently seen at the AFC Championship game at Arrowhead Stadium alongside both Ed and Travis’ mom, Donna Kelce, showing just how close she has become with the family.
