Actor Urvashi Rautela recently faced backlash for her remarks on Saif Ali Khan’s reported stabbing incident. Critics accused her of flaunting her expensive watch while expressing concern for the actor’s health, leading to accusations of being insensitive. In response, Urvashi addressed the criticism in an interview with Instant Bollywood, where she stated, “Even the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi ji, and superstars like Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are not spared from trolling. What can be done about this?”

Speaking to ANI, Urvashi had described the incident as “unfortunate” but highlighted the insecurity celebrities face, sharing that her parents had gifted her expensive watches to celebrate the success of her Telugu film Daaku Maharaaj. She explained that she had spoken about the incident during a press event scheduled to celebrate the movie’s box office success.

Urvashi later shared and deleted an Instagram apology, citing her unawareness of the incident’s details due to early morning schedules. In an interview with Filmfare, she clarified that she only learned about the situation after her interviews, stressing her concern for Saif Ali Khan’s health.Despite the controversy, Daaku Maharaaj continues to perform well at the box office, with Urvashi expressing gratitude for the film’s success amidst the backlash.
