Wendy Williams is speaking out about her thoughts on Sean Diddy Combs’ potential consequences for his past actions, suggesting it’s “about time” he faces justice. During a January 16 appearance on The Breakfast Club, the former talk show host made shocking statements about the music mogul. “Diddy will go to prison for life, people,” she boldly predicted. Williams hinted that there’s more to Diddy’s history that the public doesn’t know, suggesting that he’s finally getting what’s coming to him. “It is about time, people. Diddy done,” she added.
Diddy, who was arrested in September 2024, faces serious charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to the accusations. Currently, he is incarcerated in Brooklyn prison, where he has been denied bail despite repeated requests.
Williams’ comments come in the wake of a resurfaced 2015 interview from The Wendy Williams Show, where she questioned Diddy’s alleged controlling behavior toward his then-girlfriend, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura. In that interview, Williams described how dating someone powerful like Diddy could make a person feel helpless and vulnerable. She gave an example of how Diddy could use his influence to track down Ventura, even sending a private jet to South Africa to retrieve her.
Williams was also quick to point out that she’d feel “paranoid” in Ventura’s position. In November 2023, Ventura filed a lawsuit against Diddy, accusing him of rape and abuse, which he reportedly settled within 24 hours. Williams, who has had a rocky history with Diddy, previously claimed in her 2004 memoir that he tried to sabotage her career and made her life difficult.
While Williams says she doesn’t hate him, she clearly hasn’t forgotten the struggles she faced, commenting, “The hell he put me through. I will never forget.”
