Tatiana Maslany is more than ready to step back into the green skin of She-Hulk—this time, potentially alongside Charlie Cox’s Daredevil in Daredevil: Born Again.
Maslany first brought Jennifer Walters to life in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, which debuted on Disney+ on August 18, 2022. The series introduced fans to her fun, quirky take on the superhero lawyer, and one of its biggest highlights was Daredevil’s cameo. The chemistry between She-Hulk and Matt Murdock led to a brief romance that fans loved.
Now, as Marvel gears up for Born Again, many are wondering if Jennifer will cross paths with Daredevil once more. However, showrunner Dario Scardapane has made it clear that the revival won’t reference their past relationship.
While promoting her new film The Monkey, Maslany reflected on working with Charlie Cox and praised how effortlessly he adapted to She-Hulk’s comedic tone while staying true to Daredevil’s essence.
When asked if she’d be open to playing a darker version of She-Hulk in Born Again, Maslany didn’t hesitate. Speaking to Screenrant, she confirmed, “Would I be born again? I mean, absolutely! He was so great. He was so fun—like a really fun person to play with.”
She also applauded Cox’s ability to transition Daredevil into a different tone, saying, “What he did so well was take a character that exists in a different tone and totally adapt him for this new tone while still maintaining the integrity of the character, which is actually very funny, then. To see him collide with this sort of goofier world.”
While She-Hulk’s future in the MCU remains uncertain, Maslany’s enthusiasm makes it clear that she’s ready for more. Marvel hasn’t announced any long-term plans for the character yet, but fans are hopeful this isn’t the last we’ve seen of Jennifer Walters.
Until then, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is available for streaming on Disney+, and Daredevil: Born Again is set to premiere on March 4, 2025.
