XO, Kitty fans have a lot to celebrate as Netflix has officially renewed the To All the Boys spin-off for a third season! The series has been a hit, with season 2 achieving impressive numbers—14.2 million views and 57.7 million hours watched during its premiere week. The show remained a fan favorite, staying on Netflix’s top 10 most-viewed series list for multiple weeks.
The series stars Anna Cathcart as Kitty Song Covey, Choi Minyeong as Kim Dae Heon, Gia Kim as Yuri Han, and Lee Sang Heon as Min Ho Moon. On Valentine’s Day, Netflix made the exciting announcement of the renewal via an Instagram reel featuring Cathcart, with the caption: “Roses are red. Violets are blue. There’s a third season of XO, Kitty in store for you!”
Season 2 sees Kitty returning to KISS for a new semester, navigating relationships while discovering a letter from her mother’s past. She embarks on a journey to reunite her family, but love and heartbreak continue to take center stage. Despite a smaller number of episodes in season 2, the show captured viewers’ hearts and continues to be a fan favorite.
Showrunner Jessica O’Toole teased what’s to come in season 3, hinting at even more drama. “If you thought junior year at KISS brought the drama… just wait,” she said, adding that season 3 will include the show’s first-ever summer episode, as well as romance, friendship, adventure, and, of course, plenty of kissing. O’Toole promised that fans won’t be disappointed, especially after the season 2 cliffhanger.
Season 2 of XO, Kitty is currently streaming on Netflix, and fans can look forward to the next chapter in the story.
