Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan surprised the media at a meet-and-greet event in Mumbai by introducing his girlfriend, Gauri Spratt. The informal gathering, held at a city hotel on Thursday, was part of his early 60th birthday celebrations.
During the event, Aamir candidly spoke about his life, career, and future plans. However, the biggest revelation came when he introduced Gauri as his “partner.” The actor shared that they have been together for 18 months. Reflecting on their relationship, he said, “See, tum logon ko pata nahi lagne diya na maine (I didn’t let you guys know about it).”
Aamir revealed that he and Gauri first met 25 years ago but lost touch, only to reconnect a couple of years ago. Gauri, who previously lived in Bengaluru, has been married before and has a six-year-old son. Aamir mentioned that his family, including his children, have met Gauri and are “over the moon” about their relationship.
To help Gauri adjust to the “mad world” of showbiz, Aamir has hired private security for her. In a playful nod to his iconic 2001 film Lagaan, he quipped, “Bhuvan ko uski Gauri mil hi gayi.”
Rumors about Aamir dating a woman named Gauri had been circulating online for weeks. The actor was previously married to Reena Dutta and later to Kiran Rao, with whom he remains close.
Aamir also hinted at a possible reunion with fellow superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, saying they are open to collaborating if the right script comes along.
