Ayushmann Khurrana’s father is the reason behind double ‘n’ and ‘r’.

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana shared a post, describing his father, on today’s ‘International Father’s Day’.

Andhadhun actor Ayushmann Khurrana, shared few old pictures of his father on his Instagram handle. On the occasion of Father’s day, he wrote an emotional note for his father. Ayushmann’s father P. Khurrana is also an astrologer. It was due to his suggestion that the actor added an extra ‘n’ and ‘r’ to his name.

He began his note with an emotional quote, “Bachpan mein papa ki lagayi paabandiyon ko todne mein bahut mazaa aata tha. Aur ab bade ho kar khud pe lagayi paabandiyaan todi nahi jaati. (During childhood, we used to enjoy breaking the rules set by our father. But now that we are old, we cannot even break our self-made rules).”

Further he described his father, who studied law and also was an astrologer. He wrote, “We got it from him. The discipline. The love for music, poetry, films and art. He studied law but was always intrigued by astrology. He’s the reason behind the double Ns and double Rs in my name. ”

Ayushmann also mentioned that, for him, his father is his friend, philosopher and guide. He wrote, “At the same time he also taught us that we have the ability to carve out our own destiny and our good karma can supersede any soothsayer. My friend, philosopher and guide. My father @astrologer.pkhurrana ❤️🙏🏽#FathersDay.”
