Choreographer and content creator Dhanashree Verma has added fuel to the ongoing speculation surrounding her divorce from cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal with a cryptic social media post. On Monday, she shared a note on her Instagram Stories that read, “Blaming women is always in fashion”, shortly after fresh rumors emerged following Yuzvendra’s appearance at the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final in Dubai with RJ Mahvash.
Mahvash posted several photos and videos from the match after India’s victory, with Yuzvendra featuring in many of them—though his face remained hidden. In one post, she captioned, “Kaha tha na jita ke aungi (I told you I’ll make them win). I am good luck for team India.” The posts led to widespread speculation about a potential romantic connection between Yuzvendra and Mahvash.
Adding to the intrigue, Dhanashree also unarchived all her photos with Yuzvendra on Instagram earlier in the day. Rumors about their split initially began when the couple unfollowed each other on social media. Last month, Yuzvendra’s lawyer, Nitin K Gupta, confirmed that the couple had filed for divorce through mutual consent at the Family Court in Bandra.
Amid further rumors that Dhanashree was seeking ₹60 crore in alimony, her family issued a strong denial. In an official statement, they called the claims “baseless” and urged the media to verify facts before spreading misinformation.Dhanashree and Yuzvendra, who married in December 2020, first met during the Covid-19 pandemic when Chahal approached her for dance lessons.
