It seems that Sean “Diddy” Combs and Freddy P, a former member of Da Band, had a serious falling out after an alleged incident. Chopper, also known as Young City, another member of Da Band, recently opened up about the situation during an interview on The Art of Dialogue podcast. According to Chopper, the incident took place while they were filming MTV’s Making The Band at Diddy’s house, where things reportedly escalated when Freddy P said something that upset Diddy.
Chopper recalled that after Freddy made the comment, Diddy allegedly told the MTV crew to turn off the cameras and leave the room. Once the cameras were off, Diddy allegedly began to threaten Freddy in a very intense manner. Chopper claimed that Diddy told Freddy that he could buy his entire block and have everyone evicted, adding, “Every time you walk outside, somebody will be shooting at you.”
This confrontation apparently led to Freddy P’s decision to leave Da Band. Chopper shared that while he took the situation in stride, Freddy was deeply affected and angry at Diddy. He even believed that if Freddy were face-to-face with Diddy afterward, he might have tried to hurt him. Chopper described Freddy as a person with good intentions, but said he was deeply disappointed by the state of the music industry, which may have contributed to his reaction to the incident.
