Is Tom Cruise going to perform stunts in Space? Here’s the truth

Tom Cruise’s upcoming project seems to excite fans more than ever. Apparently, Tom could be blasted off into space to perform a spacewalk for an upcoming film, becoming the first civilian to do so. If the actor surely did it, this would see the 60-year-old Hollywood actor making history.  We all know Tom as the one possible daredevil stunt on the Earth, real life action star. Moreover, his next destination for an upcoming film is the International Space Station.

As reported by Mirror, The ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ star could be blasted off into space to perform a spacewalk for an upcoming film. Furthermore, Universal chairwoman Dame Donna Langley disclosed about the future movie which might see the 60-year-old Hollywood actor making history.

The British film executive, 54, revealed that Tom would be flown into space before disembarking from the rocket. In addition to that, all of it would be filmed through camera for the film. It is obviously one of the most amazing things the Tom has done in his career as an actor – from learning how to fly planes, abseiling down the tallest building in the world and scaling cliffs.

According to the reports of Mirror, Explaining to the BBC, Donna said, “We have a great project in development with Tom that does contemplate him taking a rocket to the Space Station” “And hopefully he will become the first civilian to do a space walk outside of the International Space Station,” she added.

Donna went on to share a few more details about Tom’s role in the secretive blockbuster: “He will play a down-on-his-luck guy who finds himself in the position of being the only person who could save Earth.”
