Meghan Markle Delays With Love, Meghan Premiere Amid Ongoing LA Fires

Meghan Markle has decided to delay the premiere of her highly anticipated lifestyle show With Love, Meghan, in light of the ongoing wildfires wreaking havoc in her hometown of Los Angeles, where the show was filmed. Originally scheduled to debut on January 15, the release has been moved to March 4 at the request of the Duchess of Sussex, with full support from Netflix.

In a statement issued on January 12, Meghan expressed her gratitude for Netflix’s understanding and for allowing the delay. She said, “I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California.”

California is deeply personal to Meghan, who was born and raised in Los Angeles. Though she and her husband, Prince Harry, now live in Montecito with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, Meghan’s ties to the state remain strong. The show, With Love, Meghan, pays homage to the beauty of Southern California and the connection she has with the region.

The couple has also been actively involved in wildfire relief efforts. They welcomed friends and family forced to evacuate into their Montecito home, and through their Archewell Foundation, they are working to support affected communities. Meghan and Harry also visited World Central Kitchen in Pasadena on January 10 to assist in distributing food and supplies to those impacted by the Eaton Fire. They’ve been focused on quietly helping with the relief efforts, both financially and through hands-on contributions, demonstrating their commitment to the recovery process.

Netflix describes With Love, Meghan as a reimagined take on lifestyle programming. The series will feature Meghan sharing personal tips and tricks, emphasizing fun and imperfection. She’ll invite guests into her kitchen, garden, and beyond, engaging in candid conversations and practical how-to’s. The goal is to inspire viewers to embrace creativity and beauty in everyday life, even when things don’t go as planned.

While the premiere may have been delayed, Meghan’s focus remains on supporting the people of California and helping with the recovery efforts during this challenging time.
