Nine Inch Nails (NIN) has officially confirmed their plans for a world tour in 2025, putting rumors to rest after recent leaks. The band shared the news on social media on January 14 but held off on releasing full details due to the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles. In their statement, NIN acknowledged the devastation happening in California and paused their announcement out of respect for those affected.
The confirmation came after fans noticed leaks on the Nine Inch Nails subreddit, where screenshots of Facebook events and Ticketmaster listings surfaced, including a rumored stop in Tampa, FL, on September 10 as part of the so-called “Peel It Back World Tour.” Other rumored dates included cities like Brooklyn, Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Cleveland in the U.S., plus shows in the U.K. (Manchester and London) and Canada (Toronto).
Though NIN hasn’t officially confirmed any tour dates, Ticketmaster listings suggested an on-sale date of January 17. The rumored tour title, ‘Peel It Back,’ may be a nod to their 1994 track “March of the Pigs,” sparking speculation that the tour could be a celebration of the 30th anniversary of The Downward Spiral, their landmark album from 1994.
NIN last toured in 2022 and previously embarked on The Trilogy Tour in 2017-2018, which covered 69 shows across North America, Europe, and Asia. Fans are eagerly awaiting more details to confirm the official dates and locations for this upcoming world tour.
