The history of Elon Musk’s relationships has been unpredictable. The founder of Twitter and Tesla’s love life, from his marriage to artist Grimes to his romance with actress Amber Heard, has captured the attention of social media. Musk has ten kids and was most recently linked to Natasha Bassett, an Elvis actor.

Musk and Amber Heard brokeup in February 2018, and in April 2018, the SpaceX founder and Grimes had a contemporary meet-cute during a flirtatious X chat. The couple made their engagement official in May of that same year when they made their Met Gala debut. The two prompted breakup suspicions by unfollowing each other on social media just a few months after going public with their romance, according to Business Insider. But the pair appeared to make up in October when they were photographed together with Musk’s children at a pumpkin farm in Los Angeles.
Grimes announced she was expecting in January 2020 by posting an Instagram picture of her growing baby bulge. In March of that year, Grimes confirmed that Musk was the father of her child in an interview with Rolling Stone. She stated of Musk, “I do actually just really love my boyfriend,” describing her enthusiasm for the prospect of becoming pregnant. Soon after, Musk posted the first image of their baby boy, who they have named X A-Xii, in which he was holding the child in a blanket.
Like any relationship, theirs has had its share of ups and downs, including a breakup in September 2021 and a subsequent reconciliation when they received their second son Exa Dark Sideræl Musk via surrogate in December 2021.
The couple has a third kid, contrary to popular belief, which held that they only have two children, according to extracts from Elon Musk’s future memoir. The New York Times disclosed that Musk and Grimes had a secretly born kid named Techno Mechanicus, also known as “Tau,” in a review of journalist Walter Isaacson’s new biography of the Tesla CEO.
According to reports, the former CEO of Twitter has ten biological children with three different women. He has six more children from his prior relationship with Canadian novelist Justine Wilson. Musk told Page Six in September 2021 that he and Grimes were “semi-separated” but still in touch and on the same page. At the time, he explained, “It’s basically because my work at SpaceX and Tesla requires me to be primarily in Texas or travel abroad, while her work is primarily in LA”.
Recently, Musk is being sued by Grimes. Even though Grimes said that Musk would not let her visit one of their kids, it is presumed that Tau is the subject of the case. The case’s specifics are remain confidential. In a post on X, the site that replaced Twitter, Grimes stated last month that she was pursuing legal action against Musk.
