Actor Shah Rukh Khan was present at the wedding of Niyati Kanakia and Konark Gowariker, the son of filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker. On social media, a number of images of the actor from the occasion surfaced.
As per the pictures, Shah Rukh and his colleagues arrive at the ceremony. He gave Ashutosh Gowariker a warm welcome and spoke with him briefly. At the ceremony, Shah Rukh also posed with Niyati and Konark. Shah Rukh sported a black jacket, a white shirt, trousers and a matching tie for the occasion. In addition, the actor donned sunglasses.
Working on the films Chamatkar (1992) and Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa (1994), Shah Rukh and Ashutosh collaborated. In the 1989 serial Circus, they were again spotted together. Shah Rukh also appeared in Swades (2004), which Ashutosh co-wrote, directed, and produced.
The guests for the wedding were Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, Gayatri Oberoi, Genelia D’Souza, Riteish Deshmukh, Vidya Balan, and Sidharth Roy Kapur. Sonali Bendre, Pooja Hegde, and Chunky Pandey were among the other famous people who attended the celebrations. On March 2, Ashutosh’s son Konark and Niyati were married in a little ceremony.
Konark has not yet made his Bollywood acting or directing debut and is now working as his father’s assistant. Rasesh Babubhai Kanakia, the proprietor of Kanakia Builders and a real estate tycoon, is the father of Niyati.
Shah Rukh will next be seen by fans in Sidharth Anand’s film King. According to reports, actor Abhishek Bachchan and his daughter Suhana Khan will also feature in the movie.
