During an appearance on The Stephen A. Smith Show, the NFL star shared an amusing rivalry with his girlfriend’s mom, Andrea Swift, over who holds the title of “No. 1 Swiftie.”
When asked if it was okay to call him a Swiftie, Kelce confidently replied, “Yeah, I’m the number one Swiftie.” The host, curious, pressed further, asking if he was even a bigger fan than Taylor’s mom, Andrea. Kelce laughed and then admitted, “I’m right there. We’re neck and neck. We’re tied at the top.”
Andrea, who has supported Taylor’s music career for years, has also shown her love for football, often seen cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs at games with her daughter.
In the same interview, Kelce also took the opportunity to praise his relationship with Taylor. He spoke about the mutual support they share, saying, “I think personally, that’s the beauty of being in a very strong relationship is that you get that support to be able to come in and focus on your craft, focus on being the best version of you.”
Since they began dating in July 2023, the couple has kept their relationship strong, continually sharing support and affection for each other both publicly and privately.
