Timothée Chalamet is blazing through ‘A Complete Unknown’ promo for one tiny, adorable reason

Timothée Chalamet is currently racing through the press tour for his new music biopic, A Complete Unknown, set to release on Christmas Day. Why the rush? The Dune star is eager to spend the holidays with his family, including his newborn niece.

On Theo Von’s This Past Weekend podcast, Timothée revealed that his sister, Pauline Chalamet, welcomed a baby girl in September 2024 with her producing partner, Rhys Raiskin. While jokingly claiming she lives in a forest commune in France (she doesn’t), he expressed excitement about meeting the little one.

Pauline, known for her role in The Sex Lives of College Girls, is currently living in Paris. The actor-producer grew up in what she described as an “artist colony” in New York City, filled with performers singing and dancing—a far cry from her brother’s whimsical joke.

Despite their success in Hollywood, the Chalamet siblings maintain a grounded relationship. “It has nothing to do with either of us,” Pauline said, emphasizing that fame hasn’t altered their sibling bond. She admires Timothée’s career and creativity, while he’s been her biggest cheerleader, attending screenings of her projects.

Their playful dynamic started young, with Pauline teasing Timothée by hiding his shoes or making her desktop wallpaper an image of her pulling his hair. “All elder sisters have a duty to be slightly evil, and she fulfilled it,” Timothée joked.

For now, the Oscar-nominated actor is channeling his energy into his film’s promotion—but come Christmas, he’ll trade the red carpet for family time, eager to bond with his new niece.
