Did Farhan Akhtar postpone Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani starrer Don 3 to May 2025?

The buzz about the much awaited Don 3 started to circulate even before production started. With Kiara Advani playing the female lead and Ranveer Singh taking on the legendary role of Don, fans are excited to see the duo.

A recent source states that Farhan Akhtar has chosen to postpone the film’s filming, which is now scheduled to start in May or June of the following year. As per a News 18 source, Farhan Akhtar has decided to delay the release of Don 3 since he is concentrating on his next movie, 120 Bahadur, in which he would play Major Shaitan Singh PVC. Before beginning work on his directing project, Farhan plans to fulfil his previous commitment to 120 Bahadur.

The article also stated, “He has chosen to move Don 3’s initial timetable forward by four months because the former’s shoot will take many months. It’s going to start in May or June of next year.” In addition, the principal actor Ranveer Singh is presently concentrating on the next film that Aditya Dhar is directing.

For those who don’t know, it was previously announced that Don 3 would begin production in August 2024. Farhan Akhtar did, however, reveal a few months ago that the production had been rescheduled until January 2025.

120 Bahadur, which is helmed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai, explores the incredible valour of the troops of Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment, under the command of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati (PVC), in the 1962 Indo-China War. Distinguishing his profound respect for these unknown warriors, Farhan thought back to their valour in the face of overwhelming circumstances on November 18, 1962.
