Rapper Kodak Black recently became a father for the fifth time, welcoming a baby boy named Prince Vulture Octave Kapri. The baby was born on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2025, at 8:00 PM. The mother, who goes by @the__onee on Instagram, shared the news with followers by posting pictures of the newborn along with his birth certificate. She also expressed her gratitude to God for the new addition to her family, but notably did not mention Kodak Black in her post or share any images of him with the baby.
Kodak’s on-and-off partner, Maranda Johnson, has had a relationship with him since 2017. They already share two children, Queen Yuri and Prince Kapri. Maranda and Kodak’s relationship has had its ups and downs, and in February 2024, they welcomed their son Prince. Kodak spoke about the experience, saying it was incredibly meaningful to him, adding that he believes his son will grow into a special person.
The couple’s relationship hasn’t always been smooth, as they’ve had public feuds, such as when Maranda got into a heated dispute with Jammiah Broomfield, the mother of Kodak’s first child. The disagreement involved accusations of neglect and other personal issues.

On top of all that, Maranda is set to appear in the new Netflix reality series Wags to Riches, which premiered on January 22, 2025. The show follows the lives of wives and girlfriends of celebrities and sports figures. At 25, Maranda is the youngest cast member in the series, which has eight episodes.
As for Kodak Black, he now has five children with four different women. Besides Maranda and @the__onee, he shares a son with Jammiah Broomfield and a daughter named Izzabella with Daijanae Ward.
